Colt Python .357 Magnum
I bought this pistol from an elderly friend who was in a bind with the IRS.
I didn't really want it, but some friends are worth sticking your head out for...or your wallet.
I paid too much for it, but he had always been good to me, so one good deed deserves another.
This example is a little worn. It's a 1968 production Python, and was a Police Officer's duty gun for many years.
I have toyed with the idea of replacing the grips, and maybe even sending it back to Colt for a re-blue, but in the end, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" is applicable.
Everybody needs a snake gun.
