Glock G34 9mm

While acknowledging the quality, ergonomics, accuracy, and reliability of Glock pistols, I never fancied them enough to actually "buy" one.

I think there are many pistols out there that are equal to, or superior, but I won't argue Gaston revolutionized the modern handgun like few others since John Moses.

My son likes this pistol more than I do, and that's fine. To each his own. At least now I don't have to listen to all the buggers who invariably ask "Why no Glocks?"

I have friends who positively SWOON over the damned things. They have let me try 'em out at the range, or in the field, but they didn't do much for me.

Then, about a couple years ago, my wife and I were at the local Republican Parties annual fundraising dinner auction, and LO! Look what was on the auction table! I thought it was neat that they'd be auctioning off a nice handgun, and paid it no nevermind. I went and bought another over priced whiskey. My wife had other plans. By the time I got back to our table, bidding had just finished on the Glock, and, without knowing it, I was its new owner. Thank you Darling. You're the best.

I'm still not a Glock cool-aid purveyor. I had just taken possession of my 9mm SilencerCo Multimount suppressor, so thusly wasted no time ordering up this wicked S3F threaded barrel.

Aside from being just that much more practical by allowing me to throw on the suppressor, it's bitchin' tacti-cool! And what could be more tactical than shiny gold plating?

Because the Glock family of sidearms is so popular, there are hundreds and hundreds of "Tactical" accessories available for pistols like this.

The downside to all this "tacticalization, is I'm going to need a bigger matte background for all my picture taking.
